The Foundation for Fresno Unified Students is hosting its annual Spill the Tea event, featuring a panel of women leaders that promise candid and thought-provoking conversations.

Spill the Tea offers an elegant high tea event to celebrate International Women’s Month. The event features discussions with students and local trailblazers from a wide range of industries.

“Spill the Tea brings together generations of women to spark honest conversation, mentorship and possibility,” said Linda Laettner, executive officer of The Foundation. “By connecting students with women leaders who have broken barriers, we are helping young people envision bold futures and build the confidence to pursue them.”

Panelists, guided by the theme “Stir the Pot. Hold the Sugar,” will inspire dialogue around leadership, resilience and challenging the status quo, the Foundation says.

Guests will have the opportunity to connect with the panel, hear diverse perspectives and support students.

Meet the Panelists

Rickie Dhillon — Superintendent and CFO, Kepler Neighborhood School

Lindsay Dozier — Officer, Fresno Police Department Community Relations Unit

Veronica Ramirez — Pediatrician and Children’s Author

Annalisa Perea — Fresno City Councilmember, District 1

The Foundation provides in-depth biographies for each woman here.

The panelists are from a range of professional backgrounds, providing a variety of experiences and insight. Fresno Unified students will join the panelists, allowing for an open conversation between youth leaders and seasoned professionals.

“I love that Spill the Tea showcases not only exemplary female leaders from across our community, but also the leaders of the future — our Fresno Unified students,” said Fresno Unified Superintendent Misty Her. “I look forward to a thought-provoking afternoon that unites women across generations, perspectives and professions.”
