The California Department of Transportation announced scheduled asphalt pavement maintenance that will close portions of Highway 41 and Highway 99 in the Fresno area this week.
The southbound Highway 41 onramp at M Street will be closed for pavement repairs from 8 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Thursday, officials said.
Maintenance operations will continue early Friday, when the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes along northbound Highway 99 just north of Clovis Avenue to just north of American Avenue will be closed from 1:15 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. for additional repairs.
Closures may be extended if weather or other delays impact work schedules.
Officials reminded drivers to use caution in maintenance zones, allow extra travel time, and be alert for road workers.
