Maintenance operations in Fresno will close parts of Highway 41 on Friday, Caltrans reported.

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the No. 2 lane on northbound Highway 41 at Central Avenue to North Avenue will be closed for maintenance. The northbound Highway 41 offramp at North Avenue also will be closed during the work.

Officials said closures may last longer if weather or other delays occur and reminded drivers to use caution in the work zone and allow extra travel time.

Road maintenance personnel will be present, and motorists are urged to slow down in the construction area.
