Tulare County Authorities Investigate Armed Robbery in Goshen

A suspect armed with a handgun robbed the Downtown Smoke Shop in Goshen just before 2:30 p.m. Monday, Feb 9, 2026, and fled with an unknown amount of cash, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office. (Tulare County SO)

Tulare County sheriff’s deputies responded to an armed robbery just before 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Downtown Smoke Shop near Road 67 and Betty Drive, authorities said.

Deputies said a suspect walked into the store, pulled out a handgun, and demanded money from the cashier before fleeing with an unknown amount of cash.

Detectives and the sheriff’s crime lab were on scene investigating.
