The California Department of Transportation announced scheduled maintenance along Highway 99 in Fresno next week that will close lanes and ramps for several hours.

On Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the #3 lane along southbound Highway 99 from Fresno Street to Cesar Chavez Boulevard will be closed for maintenance. In addition, the southbound Highway 99 onramp at Fresno Street and the offramp at Cesar Chavez Boulevard will also be closed.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the closures. Caltrans said delays could last longer if weather or other uncontrollable events occur.

Maintenance workers reminded drivers to exercise caution in the area and to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
