The California Department of Transportation announced planned closures on several highways in Fresno for asphalt sealing operations.

On Sunday, from 4 a.m. to 12 p.m., the No. 3 lane on southbound Highway 41 between Tulare and M streets will be closed. In addition, southbound Highway 41 onramps at Tulare and M streets, as well as offramps at O Street and Van Ness Avenue, will also be closed.

On Monday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the eastbound Highway 180 offramp at Clovis Avenue will be closed for maintenance.

On Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the eastbound Highway 180 offramp at Peach Avenue will be closed.

Caltrans officials said closures could last longer each day due to weather or other unexpected events. Drivers are urged to use caution, allow extra travel time, and watch for maintenance personnel in the area.

Maintenance workers reminded drivers to exercise caution in the area and to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
