Kern County sheriff’s deputies arrested three suspects in connection with an armed robbery at a business in Lamont, authorities said.
Deputies assigned to the Lamont Substation responded about 1 a.m. Jan. 4, 2026, to reports of an armed robbery in the 8200 block of Kimber Avenue. Investigators said an unknown Hispanic male entered the business, brandished a firearm at employees and demanded cash before fleeing toward a black sedan occupied by two additional male suspects.
Deputies conducted the investigation and served a search warrant Wednesday in the 2100 block of Oakwood Drive.
Authorities identified the suspects as Dominic Galvan, 23, Edward Armendarez, 46, and Richard Hernandez, 40.
All three were arrested on suspicion of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and participation in a criminal street gang, according to the sheriff’s office.
