Two suspects were arrested Thursday after a reported gun disturbance and a brief pursuit that ended in a crash, Clovis police said.
Just after noon, multiple 911 calls reported a disturbance with gunshots fired in the area of Shepherd and Sunnyside avenues. Officers were dispatched, a Drone First Responder was launched and detectives responded, police said.
As officers arrived, a real-time analyst spotted the suspect vehicle on city cameras at Shepherd and Clovis avenues and provided updates. An officer later saw the vehicle at Clovis and Nees avenues and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver failed to yield, leading to a pursuit, according to police.
The pursuit ended at Willow and Nees avenues when the driver made a left turn and collided with an uninvolved vehicle. Officers blocked in the suspect vehicle and detained two males without further incident, police said.
An adult occupant in the uninvolved vehicle complained of pain and was treated by emergency medical personnel at the scene.
During a search of the suspect vehicle, officers found two loaded handguns. One had been reported stolen and the other had no serial number, police said.

Gunshots Fired, No Injuries Reported
Officers also responded to the original disturbance location at Shepherd and Sunnyside, where they found evidence in the parking lot of a public park. Police confirmed multiple gunshots were fired in the parking lot, but no injuries were reported.
Police said the case was solved in less than an hour using city camera footage, real-time drone video and information gathered by a real-time analyst. Detectives continue to process evidence and investigate the circumstances of the incident.
The driver was identified as Joshua Pleasant, 19, of Fresno. He was booked into Fresno County Jail on multiple felony charges, including assault with a firearm, evading police and handgun-related offenses, police said.
A 17-year-old male juvenile was booked into Fresno County’s Juvenile Justice Center on charges related to carrying a concealed loaded firearm.
