Homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Sanger man in connection with the murder of a missing Fresno County resident, authorities said.
Detectives arrested Michael Bulaich, 46, of Sanger, and booked him into the Fresno County Jail on charges of murder, probation violation and being a repeat serious felony offender. Authorities said Bulaich is not currently eligible for bail.

The arrest follows a missing person report filed in early January 2026 for Garth Dustin Moore, 34. Detectives launched an investigation and developed leads in the case, the sheriff’s office said.
On Jan. 21, detectives served a search warrant at a property near Highway 180 and South Leonard Avenue in Sanger.
Based on evidence and information gathered during the investigation, detectives contacted and arrested Bulaich in connection with Moore’s death.
Further details were not released because the investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
