Instagram experienced a possible outage Tuesday, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 2,800 users had reported problems with the platform as of 11:39 a.m. PST, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing issues with the mobile application.
