A late-night traffic stop by the California Highway Patrol in Fresno led to multiple arrests and the seizure of drugs, a loaded gun, and illegal fireworks, the agency said on Tuesday.

A CHP motor officer stopped a vehicle for speeding at 103 mph. During the stop, officers determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol and arrested them.

A search of the car uncovered a loaded handgun, cocaine, marijuana, LSD, prescription pills, and illegal fireworks. CHP described the incident as removing “multiple dangers from the road and our community.”

Authorities reminded drivers to stay sober and avoid carrying illegal items that can lead to felony charges.
