Crunchyroll Goes Down for Tens of Thousands, Downdetector Reports

Crunchyroll experienced a possible outage Monday, according to Downdetector.com.

Crunchyroll is an American website and international online community that streams East Asian media, including anime, manga, drama, music, electronic entertainment, and auto racing content, Downdetector noted.

More than 22,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 11:35 a.m. PST, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing issues with server connection.

Update at 11:47 a.m.

More than 24,000 users have now reported an issue with Crunchyroll.

Update at 11:52 a.m.

Nearly 30,000 users have now reported an issue with Crunchyroll to Downdetector.

Update at 12:04 p.m.

More than 36,000 users have now reported an issue with Crunchyroll.

Update at 12:12 p.m.

Nearly 40,000 users have now reported an issue with the platform.
