Fresno police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 16-year-old girl last seen leaving her home earlier this month.

Sheyla Esquival-Bahena was last seen on the morning of Friday, Jan. 16, leaving her house in the area of West Cesar Chavez Boulevard and North Fruit Avenue, police said.

Sheyla was wearing multi-colored pajamas with a heart pattern and was carrying a light-colored backpack at the time she was last seen.

She is described as standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds.
