Harvey is a 3-year-old full of crazy cat energy! He zips and zooms around the house and loves to chase his siblings. When it is time to rest, Harvey snuggles with his sibling, Sabrina.

He can be shy at first and will do best in a home without young children or high energy dogs.

Harvey’s Backstory

Harvey’s journey started out with many fearful moments. His family, including his mom, were dumped at a remote gas station as somebody wanted to rid themselves of the burden of caring for them.

A kind person happened to be at the gas station and did what it took to find them a safe place to go, which was into one of The Cat House on the Kings foster homes. This happened back in October 2022.

Mama cats teach their kittens to be fearful for survival reasons, so Harvey has the need to know he is safe as a core instinct. When he was previously adopted, it was another scary change that he was not given the proper support to adjust to. So he was returned for being fearful.

Harvey has been waiting a long time for a family that will understand him and give him the grace needed to be himself. He is ready to bring his energetic and very handsome self to a forever home where he will receive the patience and kindness necessary to overcome his bouts of shyness.
