Heavy rain led to slick roads and reduced visibility in Delhi, contributing to a traffic collision involving a big rig, the California Highway Patrol reported Wednesday.

The CHP said the truck’s trailer lost control after the driver braked for slowed traffic.

The agency highlighted the dangers of wet conditions and the importance of slowing down, increasing following distance, and allowing extra travel time.
