Clovis police are investigating a suspicious death after an adult man was found dead early Thursday in a parking lot near Fresno County Child Protective Services.

Officers responded just before 3:30 a.m. to the southwest corner of Ashlan and Villa avenues, where the man was discovered, police said.

Detectives remained on scene Thursday morning as the investigation began.
