Visit California is generating social media love with its recent posting of a video depicting the awe-inspiring scenes in Kings Canyon National Park.

The nonprofit, whose goal is boosting tourism, describes Highway 180 through the park as a road with “a thousand reasons to pull over.”

In addition, californiathroughmylens.com describes the 50-mile Kings Canyon Scenic Byway “as one of the best scenic drives in all of California … as it traverses massive canyons, passes water falls, and follows” the upper Kings River.

Visit California features four stops in its Instagram video: the scenic byway, Roaring River Falls, Zumwalt Meadow, and Grizzly Falls.

The website offers dozens of other suggested drives for folks looking for a day trip or weekend adventure.
