A Woodlake man was sentenced Monday to life in prison for multiple sexual crimes against children and adult women, Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.

Gabriel Izquierdo, 41, pleaded guilty in November 2025 to six counts of lewd acts upon a child under 14 and two counts of sexual battery. He also admitted special allegations that two of the crimes involved substantial sexual conduct and six were committed against multiple victims. The lewd act counts are considered strike offenses under California law.

The crimes occurred between August 17, 2017, and April 6, 2021, in Woodlake and involved eight female victims. Six victims were between five and 13 years old at the time of the assaults, while two were adult women.

Under current California sentencing laws, Izquierdo must serve at least 25 years before being eligible for parole and is required to register as a sex offender for life.
