Officials say there is no danger to the public after crews responded to a broken gas line near Riverstone Boulevard and Milestone Road in Madera County. (Madera County SO)

Law enforcement, fire crews and PG&E responded Tuesday to a broken gas line near Riverstone Boulevard and Milestone Road, authorities said.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office said there is no threat to the public, but officials are asking people to avoid the area until further notice.
