Tulare police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run after officers found a man dead Monday morning.

Police said officers responded around 7 a.m. to Bardsley Avenue and Oakmore Street after receiving a report of a person with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. When they arrived, they found a deceased Hispanic man.

His name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
