The Fresno club promising Michelin-level food, service, and entertainment held a red-carpet affair Thursday as part of its three-day opening weekend.
To celebrate the inaugural night, The PM Lounge brought on basketball icon Shaquille O’Neal, who deejayed the event.
“Last night was truly special. DJ Diesel, also known as Shaq, brought incredible energy to the stage and Michael Huntley amazed everyone with his next-level voice. Appearances from fan favorites like Meagan Good and Kendra Wilkinson added an extra layer of excitement to the grand opening,” said Becca Brazil, PR partner for The PM Lounge Fresno.
“We are so excited for what The PM Lounge members will experience over the next year and beyond. We have some amazing surprises and unforgettable moments planned, last night was only the beginning.”
Celebrities Partake in the Fresno Festivities
The members-only club grand opening’s first night drew a slate of celebrities to Fresno, lending the event a dose of Hollywood glamour.
The result was an atmosphere where celebrities weren’t distant figures behind velvet ropes — they were right at your table.
Shaq performed amid smoke effects, pulsing lights and a giant screen that gave everyone in the packed venue a clear view. He mixed everything from classics like Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin,’ ”Cutting Crew’s “(I Just) Died in Your Arms,” and Ray Dalton’s “All We Got” to modern pop hits from artists like Lady Gaga.
Throughout his set, he stopped to take photos with fans and invited some onto the stage.
Michael Huntley, winner of Season 24 of NBC’s “The Voice,” performed classics and a few originals with his band. He said he appreciates connecting with fans online but nothing compares to meeting them face to face.
“Being able to get on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram Live and be able to connect with the fans, but to meet them in person, it is just really amazing,” he said. “I’ll stay at the meet and greets for an hour or two hours because it’s just the way that I connect with people on the show and now I get to connect with my music.”
It was Huntley’s first visit to Fresno, a trip he described as “electric.”
Actress and model Meagan Good — known for roles in “Anchorman 2,” “Eve’s Bayou,” the Nickelodeon sitcom “Cousin Skeeter,” “Stomp the Yard,” “Think Like a Man” and the “Shazam!” Films — said she was already familiar with Fresno.
“My cousin used to live out here, so I used to come a lot when I was like 19, 20,” she said. “It is cool to be back, and the vibe is right. Everyone’s been so lovely.”

Ron Artest III, son of former NBA star Metta World Peace, recalled his college basketball days playing against Fresno State during his time at Cal State Northridge.
“This isn’t my first time ever coming to Fresno. I played Fresno State,” he said. “I have a lot of friends that live here so I love coming here to see my friends.”
Reflecting on the event, he added, “This is probably the most fun I am going to have so far. It’s only going to get better.”
Kevin Fernandez from Netflix’s “The Circle” — who said that he was the show’s villain — was also among the attendees. A former athlete at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Fernandez said he has spent time in Fresno before.
“I love it up here, I will say. Thank goodness it’s not 110 like when I was running track out here before,” he said. “This is such a great area, and then, the opportunity to have an event like this to bring a ton of people within this community, the greater Northern California community together, you truly can’t beat this.”

Invitees, celebrities, and members alike celebrated opening night. On its day-to-day, the club at Cedar and Nees avenues will offer Michelin-level food to its membership along with a fine wine bar and golf simulator.
Throughout the year, ownership plans on bringing notable entertainers for more private, intimate shows, The PM Lounge representatives previously told GV Wire. Below are photos from the inaugural event:
