Caltrans crews will close a lane on eastbound Highway 180 early Friday morning for asphalt pavement repairs, the California Department of Transportation announced.

The #3 lane along eastbound Highway 180, from the Highway 41 connector ramp to the Highway 168 connector ramp, will be closed from 1 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Friday while maintenance personnel conduct repairs within the closure limits.

Caltrans said closures may last longer if delays occur due to weather or other uncontrollable events.

Motorists are advised to drive with extra care and expect additional travel time through the maintenance area. Drivers are reminded to stay alert for road workers and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
