Clergy and community members gathered in prayer to show unity and support for immigrants affected by ICE detentions.
The vigil prayer took place in downtown Fresno at the ICE facility on Tuesday. Faith in the Valley was the main organizer for the event.
Speakers emphasized solidarity, compassion, and the need to reject propaganda that divides communities.
They condemned the unjust treatment and arrests of immigrants, urging both the public and ICE workers to recognize the shared humanity of all people and to stand against injustice and inhumane practices.
