Tulare County Authorities Search for Missing Orosi Woman

Tulare County Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for a missing elderly woman last seen Thursday morning near El Monte Middle School.

Authorities say 74-year-old Lucia Carreon was reported missing around 9:30 p.m. Thursday when deputies responded to the 12500 block of Miller Avenue in Orosi.

Neighbors told deputies they last saw Carreon around 7:30 a.m. walking near the school and she had not returned home.

Carreon is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black and white checkered fleece jacket, red sweatpants, and dark shoes.
