Driver Hospitalized After Crashing Into Visalia's BevMo

A driver was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after crashing into a BevMo store on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia, the Visalia Police Department said in a statement.

Visalia police officers responded around 2:32 p.m. and determined the driver had suffered a medical emergency before the crash.

The driver was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, authorities said.

No other injuries were reported.

Lanes on Mooney Boulevard remained open, but officers continued to investigate at the scene.

Police urged drivers to use caution and expect delays in the area.
