Injuries are a major storyline in tonight’s Los Angeles Rams-San Francisco 49ers game because both teams are missing key starters. The 49ers already ruled out Brock Purdy, Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings, while the Rams came into Thursday with Tyler Higbee and Rob Havenstein doubtful to play.
The Rams will officially be without those two players, as they’re on the team’s list of inactives for Thursday night. Additionally, Beaux Limmer, Desjuan Johnson and Stetson Bennett are also inactive, all three being healthy scratches.
With Higbee out, Terrance Ferguson is officially active for the first time since Week 2. He was a healthy scratch in each of the last two games and has played four total snaps on offense this season.

The 49ers previously ruled out five total players so their list of inactives features no real surprises. In addition to those five, Jordan James and Nick Martin are also inactive. C.J. West, who was questionable, is active.
