Fresno Police Seek Suspect in Early Morning Strong-Arm Robbery

Fresno police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman accused of a strong-armed robbery.

Authorities said the incident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. on August 2 near Vagedes and Clinton avenues.

The suspect allegedly assaulted the victim and took her purse, which contained house keys and credit cards. Police say the suspect later tried to enter the victim’s home and used the victim’s credit cards at a local business.

Detectives have identified the suspect as Jennifer Michelle Garza, 49, who faces multiple charges including robbery and unauthorized use of a credit card.
