Authorities are investigating the disappearance of a 50-year-old Coalinga woman who was last seen in San Luis Obispo County earlier this month.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a missing person report for Isabel Lucas Velasco on Sept. 13.

Velasco, who is 5-foot-1 and weighs about 145 pounds, was last known to be in San Luis Obispo County on Sept. 12, officials said.

Detectives are treating her disappearance as suspicious.

Velasco has ties to Coalinga and Visalia, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.
