The San Francisco 49ers are off to a great start in 2025, downing the Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals to start the season 3-0 and hold the top spot in the NFC West. Now, in Week 4, they’ll take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at Levi’s Stadium.
San Francisco didn’t play their best game against Arizona in Week 3, but their defense was strong and the offense, led by backup Mac Jones again, did just enough to set up new kicker Eddy Pineiro for a game-winning field goal as time expired.
Jacksonville has started the season 2-1, beating the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans, and falling to the Cincinnati Bengals. Against Houston last week, they put up 17 while quarterback Trevor Lawrence and starting running back Travis Etienne Jr. looked far from their best.
Heading into this matchup, the 49ers have opened as 3.5-point favorites at home against the Jaguars, according to BetMGM. The over/under is 47 points, and San Francisco is -185 ($185 bet wins $100) on the money line.
Things may change later this week if we get more clarity on the 49ers’ quarterback situation. If Brock Purdy is healthy and gets the start, the line could shift even more in San Francisco’s direction.
