A multi-vehicle collision blocked the two left lanes of southbound Highway 99 at McKinley Avenue on Friday, backing up traffic for about four miles, Caltrans reported.

Drivers were urged to proceed with caution as crews worked to clear the scene. No immediate details were released about injuries or how long the closure would last.
