Visalia Police Arrest 9 in Narcotics Operation at Sequoia Lodge

Nine people were arrested Friday morning during a narcotics operation at the Sequoia Lodge in Visalia, police said.

At about 7:30 a.m., the Visalia Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, Special Enforcement Unit and HOPE teams carried out two narcotics-related search warrants and a probation search at the complex, located at 1400 S. Mooney Blvd.

Those arrested included Louie Rodriguez, 63, on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sales and maintaining a drug house, and Jael Castillo, 20, for possession of narcotics for sales and a probation violation.

Also taken into custody were Michael McKnight, 48; Kayla Nichols, 38; Rayford McCrae, 34; Elizabeth Arnold, 45; Felix Estrella, 48; Frank Trevino, 68; and Joyce Perry, 70, on charges ranging from resisting arrest to outstanding warrants.

Code Enforcement also conducted an inspection of the property.
