Fresno Labor Day Traffic Alert for Motorists Using Maroa Avenue

Fresno City Hall is alerting drivers to the upcoming closure of the Maroa Avenue railroad crossing between Clinton and Shields avenues.
The closure will begin at 8 a.m. Monday and is expected to last until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
BNSF Railroad will be improving the crossing, city officials said in a news release Friday morning.
The crossing will be under what is described as a “hard closure,” requiring drivers to use alternate routes.
