Kern County sheriff’s deputies discovered an illegal gambling casino operating in Bakersfield on Sunday, authorities said.

Deputies from the Metropolitan Patrol Division located the operation around 8 a.m. in the 900 block of North Chester Avenue, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office said.

A search warrant was executed, and investigators seized more than $5,000 in cash, numerous slot machine CPUs and other evidence of illegal gambling, officials said.
