GV Wire News Director Bill McEwen talks with KMPH Fox 26 “Great Day” anchor Liz Gonzalez about how Texas and California want to redistrict their congressional seats.

Gov. Newsom proposes to alter the state’s 53 House districts to shift five or six seats now held by Republicans into Democratic hands.

However, California voters will have the last word in a special election after Newsom prepares the new maps.
