Clovis police arrested four men on Tuesday and seized narcotics, a loaded handgun, and cash after serving multiple search warrants in Clovis and Fresno, officials said.

The arrests come after a five-month investigation launched from an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip, the Clovis Police Department said Wednesday.

Detectives with the department’s Special Enforcement Team served four search warrants Tuesday in connection with alleged sales of narcotics, prescription sedatives, and illegal nicotine products.

The Arrested Suspects

Police identified the suspects as Jeremiah Gonzalez, 25, and Jonathan Simmavong, 27, both of Clovis, and Gursimran Mahal, 25, and Zackary Torres, 26, both of Fresno.

All were booked into the Fresno County Jail on drug-related charges.

Gonzalez also faces a probation violation, and Mahal was additionally charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Seized items included Oxycontin, Adderall, Xanax, psilocybin mushroom candy bars, flavored nicotine vape products, electronics, and a loaded gun.

Investigators also linked a Clovis smoke shop to the case, prompting the seizure of the flavored vape products.
