Two suspects were arrested Wednesday during a Clovis Police Department operation targeting organized retail crime, after officers discovered stolen mail, fraudulent documents, illegal drugs, and burglary tools during a vehicle search.

Officers patrolled retail parking lots in both marked and unmarked vehicles to deter theft and conduct surveillance, the Clovis Police Department reported.

Walmart staff alerted officers to two known suspects inside the store allegedly concealing merchandise. Officers contacted the pair in the parking lot and arrested them.

Police identified the suspects as Tina Delgado, 30, and David Heu, 33.

Both were booked into Fresno County Jail on multiple charges. Heu, who is already on probation for identity theft, was also taken into custody on a felony warrant, police said.

The recovered stolen mail and a handmade key for postal boxes were given over to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service for further investigation.
