Don See of Fresno, a U.S. Navy veteran known for his humor, kindness, and devotion to family, died peacefully at home on June 1. He was 91.

Born July 10, 1933, the Fresno native served in the Navy from May 1952 to May 1956 and was stationed aboard the U.S.S. AJAX (AR-6) during the Korean War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his service.

See was the devoted husband of Sheri See and the proud father of two sons, Casey See and Jack See. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Known for his quick wit and warm heart, See brought laughter to everyone around him, often sharing jokes with children and the elderly. He saw it as his life’s purpose to make others smile.

An avid tennis player, See captained several teams over the years, earning respect for his leadership and sportsmanship both on and off the court.

He will be remembered for his joyful spirit, steadfast friendship, and deep love of family, relatives said.
