Lovable, good-looking 9-year-old-Lugosi (Lou to his friends!) is ready to bring his winning “purrsonality” and classic handsomeness to a lucky forever home!
If you have a wand with feathers or a cat tree to climb, he’ll be endlessly entertained! And if you don’t, he has no trouble finding things to occupy his curiosity! Scratches behind the ears and lots of pets and cuddles are also high on his list of favorites! His favorite things? Being held, petted, and getting scratched under his chin.

Lugosi has had a dental and teeth removed, to keep him healthy in his senior years, and he can eat both wet and dry food just fine.
At The Cat House on the Kings, we provide a lifetime of support for our kitties like Lugosi, so when his loving years long adopter developed serious medical issues we understandably took Lugosi back into our care and provided the medical needs for him now that he is 9 years old.
He originally came in like so many do as a young kitten, a part of an unwanted litter trying to survive on the streets of Fresno. Please remember senior cats during kitten season too, they still have that young kitten inside of them wanting to play, receive love, and thrive with a loving adoptive family.
How to Adopt Lugosi
To adopt Lugosi or see other available cats and kittens, visit The Cat House on the Kings.
All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas, and litter-box trained. And, 30 days of pet insurance is included with an adoption.
The nonprofit Cat House on the Kings is California’s largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center.
