A motorcyclist crashed his motorcycle Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Fruit and Paul avenues, the Fresno Police Department said.

Police said the crash involved a motorcycle carrying a driver and one passenger.

The motorcyclist reportedly lost control and laid the bike down.

The male driver remained on the ground but was conscious and breathing when emergency crews were called.

The passenger was able to get up, officials said.

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
