Several of them have already taken place. Here’s a look at those coming up tonight through Sunday:

Thursday, July 3

The annual Kerman American Spirit Fireworks Extravaganza will include food trucks, boutiques, bounce houses, water slides, and live entertainment.

The celebration is at Kerman High School Stadium with gates opening at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $4-$7 and can be purchased in advance.

Kingsburg High Football Stadium has organized a fireworks show that includes food and music.

The gates will open at 6 p.m. and fireworks begin at sunset. The entrance fee is $5, and parking is an additional $5. All proceeds go to the Kingsburg Seawolves program.

Selma encourages the community to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a Independence Day Celebration at Selma High School from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The event includes food vendors and a fireworks show. Tickets cost $2-$5.

Island Water Park will launch a fireworks display to end the night on July 3 and 4. The park is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. both days.

One of the Valley’s biggest Independence Day celebrations continues nightly through July 5 at Wild Water Adventure Park. Each night at 9:15, the sky lights up with lasers and video in a multimedia show set to music. Check park website for admission prices.

Friday, July 4

Fresno Freedom Run encourages everyone to begin the big day with a 4-mile or 2-mile run across Woodward Park. There will also be kids and veteran runs.

Participates can race, run or walk through the American flag lined course. They will receive an American flag themed shirt, food at the finish, timed results, and awards for the top three finishers in the various age groups. The runs will take place throughout the morning with registration $24 to $58. Prices increase on July 1.

A Tioga-Sequoia Beer Garden Block Party event will be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 745 Fulton St in Fresno.
