A truck was struck by a train after becoming stuck on railroad tracks in the area of Highway 43 and Palmer, the Tulare County Fire Department said on Wednesday.

The driver attempted to move the vehicle but was unable to do so before the train hit it a few minutes later, authorities added.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The train sustained only minor damage, and the truck was left disabled on the tracks.

Emergency crews responded to clear the scene, but authorities did not immediately release details regarding what caused the truck to become stuck.
