Fresno County detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle connected to the 2020 shooting death of Rosendo Herrera in San Joaquin, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Victim: Rosendo Herrera

Surveillance video shows an SUV traveling through the area where Herrera’s body was later discovered.

Investigators are urging anyone who recognizes the vehicle or knows who owns it to contact them immediately.

Shortly after midnight on Oct. 8, 2020, a homeowner near Manning Avenue and Donna Street called dispatchers to report an injured man outside their home.

Deputies arrived to find Herrera suffering from gunshot wounds. They provided first aid until EMS crews arrived, but Herrera died a short time later.
