The Fresno Police Department reported that the suspect was arrested and that the road closure will open up soon.

A portion of Blackstone Avenue is closed Wednesday for an active call involving a wanted suspect believed to be contained in the area, authorities said.
The individual is wanted for kidnapping, felony domestic violence, felony hit-and-run, felony evading, and a parole violation, the Fresno Police Department told GV Wire.
Northbound and southbound lanes of Blackstone Avenue between Clinton Avenue and Michigan Avenue are shut down, along with Clinton Avenue between Blackstone Avenue and Clark Street.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
