Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect caught on video in connection with a shooting that left one person injured in central Fresno.

Officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim near First Street and Belmont Avenue at 7:18 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Fresno Police Department.

When officers arrived, they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Authorities have released video footage showing the suspect, but no arrest has been made.

Got a Tip?

Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is urged to contact detective Alejandro Lopez at (559) 540-4343 or reach out anonymously through Valley Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.

Tipsters who provide information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward. However, police caution that contacting both Crime Stoppers and the detective will void any claim to anonymity.
