Two men were arrested Thursday after police uncovered illegal marijuana sales at a Visalia smoke shop, authorities said.

At about 5:40 p.m., the Visalia Police Department’s Narcotics Unit and Special Enforcement Unit served a search warrant at Mooney Smoke Shop in the 1300 block of South Mooney Boulevard, police said.

Detectives say they found evidence of illegal marijuana and THC product sales during the search.

Muhammad Taha, 19, and Jamil Taha, 21, were arrested on suspicion of marijuana sales, officials said.

Visalia City Code Enforcement officers also responded and issued a cease-and-desist order, effectively shutting down the business.
