A study by OnlineCasinoCalifornia.io finds you can enjoy a night out in Fresno and it will cost you less than practically anywhere else in the U.S.

Fresno ranked No. 4 on the website’s list, trailing only San Antonio, Sacramento, and Tucson.

The study analyzed data from cities with populations over 500,000 and considered factors such as hotel costs, taxi fares, drink prices, and meal expenses.

San Antonio claimed the top spot with a total cost of $141.98 for a night out, followed by Sacramento at $153.01. Tucson secured the third position with an average cost of $171.22.

Fresno’s Affordability Breakdown

Fresno averaged $176.95 for a night out. The city boasts the third cheapest hotel average cost at $111.95 per night and the third lowest wine price at $13.

“If you’re seeking a night out on the West Coast, Sacramento or Fresno are budget-friendly choices, as opposed to Los Angeles or San Diego, which could cost between $65 and $100 more per night,” Josh Miller of OnlineCasinoCalifornia.io said in a news release.

Advice for Budgeting

The study found that the least affordable cities for a night out include New York City ($293.76), San Diego ($257.85), and Charlotte, North Carolina ($241.27).

Miller advised planning ahead to save money regardless of the chosen destination. “Your hotel will likely be the largest expense of the night, so it’s a good idea to book it as far in advance as possible and capitalize on any available deals,” he said.
