A Visalia man was arrested at a residence near the 1700 block of North Court Street on Wednesday, the Visalia Police Department said in a statement.

On Jan. 9, the Visalia Police Department’s Youth Service Officers received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Through this investigation, officers were able to identify Wilmer Cannon-Madrid, 45, of Visalia, as the suspect.

Cannon-Madrid was booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility for being in possession of child sexual abuse materials, authorities said.
