A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 31-year-old man in Tulare, the Tulare Police Department said in a statement.

Solomon Ponce, of Tulare, was shot on the night of Feb. 7 near San Joaquin Avenue and N. California following a fight, authorities said.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at 10:51 p.m. and found Ponce suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
A 39-year-old man, who was also at the scene, later arrived at a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said.

Investigators determined the shooting was gang-related and arrested a 17-year-old male suspect after serving a search warrant.
On Friday, police arrested a second 17-year-old suspect during a traffic stop after SWAT officers served a high-risk search warrant at a residence on A Street.
