When rescuers first spotted PJ Pickles, he was sitting under a tree, clad head to toe in pajamas, looking heartbreakingly alone.
No one knows how the tiny pup, a likely spaniel-chihuahua mix, ended up roaming the streets, but he had no plans to be caught.

For eight days, he darted through the neighborhood, his tiny frame wrapped in his now-signature sleepwear, before finally giving in.
Each night, he curled up on a doorstep, where a pair of young girls affectionately named him Pickles.
Now safe, the 10-pound pup is proving to be just as cuddly as he looks — content to be held like a baby, perhaps explaining his penchant for pajamas.
