Southwest Airlines added a fourth nonstop destination to routes to and from Fresno Yosemite International Airport.
Beginning Oct. 2, travelers can take direct flights to San Diego International Airport, according to an airport news release.
“Southwest Airlines is a valued airline partner and continues to grow its presence in California’s Central Valley,” said Henry Thompson, the city’s director of aviation. “The additional San Diego service operated by Southwest Airlines demonstrated the airline’s confidence in our market and is timely with the excitement and growth occurring at FAT, including the anticipated completion of the new terminal expansion in fall 2025.”
